Mr. Lim Kim Hai was appointed the Chairman of Lynk Biotechnologies in June 2005. Mr. Lim, based in Singapore, is the recipient of two scholarships by the Singapore Government. The first was to complete an undergraduate Masters degree in electronics engineering in the prestigious French ‘Grande Ecole’ schools of engineering. The second was awarded while he was serving with the Ministry of Defense of Singapore to complete a Masters in Public Administration course at the elite Ecole Nationale d’Administration of France. After a period of 10 years as a Defense Specialist Engineer, Mr. Lim left the civil service to start his own businesses. Mr. Lim currently has an extensive portfolio of investment and has business interests in many countries. He is the Executive Chairman of Regional Express, Australia’s largest listed regional airline. He is also Chairman of WooWorld Private Limited which syndicates online and mobile games from Korea and Europe to telecommunication companies and portals in China, Japan and South East Asia.
 

 
Mr. Lee Thian Soo is the alternate director to Mr. Lim Kim Hai. He has extensive international business experience and currently is the Chairman and owner of several businesses with subsidiaries in South East Asia. These include an aviation components and service company, specialising in military aircraft, as well as a medical equipment supply company, involved in the distribution and marketing of medical equipment and drugs. He is also on the board of a mobile/internet gaming company as well as the Australian airline company, Rex.
 

 
Dr. Tan Boon Tiong was appointed an independent director of the Lynk Board in June 2005. He came from a telecommunications and I.T. background having worked for Singapore Telecom from 1996 to 2000 where he was responsible for the deployment of the ADSL and ATM network infrastructure. He later joined Mediacorp Singapore in 2000 and managed a S$100 million Technology fund. He also led in Mediacorp's effort to develop its New Media business. Currently Dr. Tan heads the NUS Venture Support unit where he is responsible for the funding and incubation of technology start-ups from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Dr. Tan holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge University.
 

 
Associate Professor Lee Chee Wee is the director and founder of Lynk Biotechnologies, and a researcher in the area of drug development with the Department of Physiology. A/Prof. Lee has over 20 years of experience in drug discovery and development process, in areas such as drug design, modeling, validation, screening, in vitro and in vivo testing. He is an expert in membrane transport, drug delivery systems, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, cancer chemotherapies, protein chemistry, molecular and cellular physiology. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from McGill University in 1982 and 1985, respectively. Under Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research Studentship, he obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Physiology from University of Alberta in 1989. He was a post-doctorate fellow at the Department of Pharmacology at Yale Comprehensive Cancer Research Centre, Yale University School of Medicine from 1988-1990. He was recruited by Department of Physiology to join NUS in 1990.
 

 
Dr. Goh Lay-Beng is the Chief Operation Officer (COO) and Research Director of Lynk Biotechnologies. She is actively involved in the Group’s business activities, and takes charge of the day-to-day operational matters, as well as manufacturing and R&D activities. Her research expertise and scientific publications cover the areas of molecular biology, cellular physiology, drug transport and drug delivery. Dr. Goh obtained her B.Sc. in Chemistry & Biochemistry, and M.Sc. in Physiology at the National University of Singapore, with scholarships awarded by ICI (Singapore) & the university, respectively. Her Ph.D. in cellular models of drug transport was sponsored by Pfizer and Glaxo SmithKline in the UK, at the Biomedical Research Centre of the Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, Scotland.
 

 
 
Dr. Henry Wong Chuen Yuen is the Managing Director (MD) of DynaLynk Pharma, Lynk Group’s pharmaceutical contract manufacturing facility. He is also actively involved in the Group’s business development activities, bringing global business leads to the companies. Prior to joining DynaLynk, he was the Vice President in Business Development for Dynavest Pte Ltd, overseeing Dynavest’s investments and a factory project in China. Dr. Henry Wong has obtained his BEng.(Hon) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, MSc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering & Power Management, and PhD. in (Artificial Intelligence) Agent Technology, with scholarships awarded in the UK by the University of Dundee, Dundee, Scotland. He is also a chartered member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) in the UK.
 

 
 
Dr. Shahi is currently the Chairman of BioEnterprise Asia, and Director of the Global BioBusiness Initiative at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. Dr. Shahi is a physician with training in molecular biochemistry and international health policy and management. He is a leading expert on change management and strategic program implementation in healthcare, the life sciences, and biotechnology. His experience includes work on life science technology assessment; strategic business planning; R&D and work process improvement; performance appraisal of joint ventures and strategic alliances; market strategy development; economic and policy analysis for health intervention; and evidence-based decision-making for investment and implementation. Dr. Shahi has played a key role in the development of several major international initiatives including the International Vaccine Institute and the Asia-Pacific International Molecular Biology Network (for which he served as Executive Director/Coordinator), and has served as advisor and consultant to leading international organizations, governments, corporations and foundations. He has authored over 50 articles, refereed journal papers and conference presentations. He is the author of the influential book “BioBusiness in Asia” (Pearson Prentice Hall, 2004) and served as lead editor for “International Perspectives on Environment, Development and Health: Toward a Sustainable World” (GS Shahi, BS Levy, A Binger, T Kjellstrom and RS Lawrence, Springer Publishing Company, New York, 1997). He earned an M.D. and Ph.D, from the National University of Singapore; and an M.P.H. from Harvard University.
